How would you describe yourself to someone?

There is two words that I would especially use, friends, if someone were to ask me to describe myself to them, and those words are the “bestest boy”.

Muvver and Farver use many other words to describe me too. Sometimes I hears them talking about me and these are the fings they says:

✰ “Isn’t he perfect?”

✰ “What a tiny little lad. He’s more like a big rat than a dog!”

✰ “He’s a nasty piece of work.”

✰ “Isn’t he just the cleverest boy in the world. What a tremendous little soul.”

✰ “What a wimp!”

✰ “He’s very neurotic, just like his Muvver, and strange, like his Farver.”

But “bestest boy” is the one that makes me do a like the most friends, because it’s true. Since I was a tiny lad, I’ve been learning to speak a language called human and I finks I has been very clever with it. I knows I now speaks more human than Muvver and Farver speaks dog, although I knows they do try real hard. I knows words and sometimes when they does a join together, I knows they mean a thing that is exciting.

Like when Muvver says “Ziggy Moonbeam, would you like…” and it makes me do a speak because I know it will be followed with something exciting like “to go to the beach” or “to have some chicken” or “to have a mid-day-treat” or “to go to school”.

Yesterday, I was in the garden with Muvver and I sees something that I knows would do her a big fright so I done a special bark and then she hears a noise in the leaves and then she done a BIG scream and she shouts “INSIDE ZIGGY, NOW” and I runs to the door and Muvver follows and we goes together and stands on the sofa and she shouts “FARVER!” and Farver says we must stay indoors and by then the long, slithery frightener had gone away.

Then Muvver and Farver gets a handful of treats and they said “Can the bestest boy please come to the kitchen?” and they keeps saying “‘Inside’: good boy! That was so clever Ziggy!” and I gets treats and treats.

And at bedtime, they says “it’s time for the bestest boy to go to the Land of Nod for the night”, so I goes upstairs and they smiles at me and when they calls me that name, it makes me do a smile too.

So that is how I would do a describe of myself, friends.
